Photography: Nova Scotian Scenery & Wildlife
Here are some photographs taken across Nova Scotia from the Baddeck Highlands, the Eastern Shore, the La Have River, and even right within Halifax. I have tried to capture the spirit and color of all four seasons within Nova Scotia.
Click on the thumbnails to the right to view the full images.
These color photos were taken using either:
- A Canon AE-1 (Manual) with various lenses such as Canon 50mm, Vivitar 100-200mm, and Canon 28-70mm
- or a Canon Zoom 28-70
Most of these photos were taken using the Canon AE-1 and either the Vivitar 100-200mm lense or the Canon 50mm. They are taken all over Nova Scotia, from the Cape Breton Highlands to my own backyard.
Photography Tip: When photographing scenery, it is important to try and not have the sun directly behind what you are trying to capture. If you do, then you are likely going to have your foreground under exposed and so it will be very dark and hard to see, while the sky and subject matter behind it will be very bright.

I do take commission requests for artwork including paintings, drawings, sculptures etc. Prices depend on how long each piece takes. For more information, please visit The Canadian Dragon Store.

I have many items featuring my artwork available on CafePress such as prints, postcards, notepads, buttons, and even t-shirts and hats. Please visit my CafePress Store for a complete list of items and designs.
