For the top image I used the idea of a gryphon crest that you would normally see on a shield, and made my own version based off of how I picture a gryphon. The bottom two were a commission request that went sour; someone wanted me to draw a similar griffon for their husband, but once she was provided with the thumbnail sketches she no longer responded to my emails. So if you see these images anywhere else, being sold on t-shirts, buttons, etc., please let me know.

I try to keep the scans and photos on this page as close to the actual colors in the original pieces as possible, but some variation may occur depending on your monitor.
